I have been using Precision for a while now, ever since they worked on my wife's 2006 Fusion last year. They are now my only repair shop for both my Nissan Frontier and the Fusion. Basically it comes down to honesty. I hadn't found a mechanic I truly trusted until I went to Precision. Last week I had my front brakes done on the Frontier. They discovered that the last shop where I had the brakes checked had left a set screw off of some sort of seal ring on my left front hub. I'm no mechanic, but that sounded pretty dangerous to me. Precision not only replaced the front brakes I paid them to do, but they corrected the other shop's mistake -and didn't rip me off. I am through with those franchise places that change oil or tires and claim they can do your brakes or other complex repairs. I don't want to have to take the chance that some 18 year old at a tire store isn't going to panic when he misplaces a screw and just slap things back together and hope for the best. This convinces me those chains don't have or can't keep trained staff. At Precision I see people who are certified, who know what they're doing. The owner is the person you trust your car to, not someone who won't be there the next time you go. With my wife's car, I have to trust that she and our two kids will make it to school and work safely. I trust Precision.
