When my Chevy 3500 Diesel Pick-up Truck developed an issue with its Transmission Control Module (TCM) I took it to the Chevy dealer. When that dealer didn't fix it I had it towed to a second Chevy dealer. When it looked like the second dealer wouldn't be able to make the repair, I called Precision Auto Service in Sacramento. I spoke with Rick. After days of dealing with the problem, I had gained some knowledge concerning TCMs (essentially a computer that helps the vehicle's transmission be as efficient as possible). From speaking with Rick, I could tell he knew his stuff. I explained the problem and asked if Precision Auto would be able to fix it, in the event the second dealer could not. Rick assured me they could make the repair. Next, Rick asked me about my warranty with Chevy. My truck is six years old and has 63K miles - well over the warranty - or so I thought. Rick educated me as to the Federal Emissions Warrant that goes beyond the GM warranty. I looked into it as neither dealer had mentioned it. Chevy was able to make the repair and was ready to bill me over $900. Because of Rick's technical expertise and his mentioning of the Federal Emissions Warranty, I knew the dealer wasn't being 'up front' regarding coverage under warranty. In the end, I didn't pay a dime! Next time my truck has any need at all I will have Precision Auto Service do the work. Before I could write a Yelp review on this business, I wanted to personally visit Precision Auto Repair; I had dealt with them over the phone only up to this point. I met Rick and his business partner Scott. Both very personable and knowledgeable. I viewed the business and the repair bays. Precision Auto Service is clean, well run, and professional automotive repair shop.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They are courteous, efficient, and personable. My new go-to mechanic! Theyarranged a rental car for me, did a comprehensive check of my vehicle, and made recommendations for further service without being pushy.

Five star service they took there time, provided me excellent information regarding my cars engine and over all vehicle condition. That's why I chose this shop they are friendly and informative. They provide options that can save you money. However they get the job done with very high quality work.

Exceptional company. 5-Star! My experience from the moment I walked into their office has been more than I expected. Trust is not something easily given - especially when it comes to spending a lot of money on vehicle services. Too often the consumer is taken advantage of due to their ignorance. My last mechanic/repair shop - their location is in close proximity to Precision - turned out to be gouging me as I trusted their services & MORE IMPORTANTLY THEIR WORD (*side note: I'm strongly considering litigation against that company - they misdiagnosed & wanted $2K to "fix" the problem. Precision Auto fixed the issue for less than $150!!) Today I say proudly that I've found a new auto repair company for both me & my son's BMWs - thank you VERY much Precision Automotive! Bless you all.. I take my car safety very seriously - especially my child's safety

I found precision by doing a google search when my car needed to be fixed for the same problem after having been "fixed' by other mechanics before. The people here actually worked to find the real problem with my car instead of putting a band aid on it like other places did. I feel I can trust precision to be honest with me about all of my cars needs. I have also never once felt like a "little lady" coming into the shop, a feeling I think a lot of women experience. I will be taking my car to precision from here on out!!
